End-User License Agreement

This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you ("Licensee") and Wiretide ("Licensor") and covers your use of the Wiretide app (the "Application"). By downloading, installing or using the Application, you accept this Agreement. If you don't accept it, don't install or use the Application.
1. The Application
Wiretide is a debugging proxy for macOS that captures and inspects HTTP, HTTPS, WebSocket and MQTT traffic, and, with Wiretide Pro, lets you change, script and replay it. The Application is available as a free version and as Wiretide Pro, a one-time purchase.
2. Scope of License
The Licensor grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the Application on Macs you own or control, for personal or commercial work.
- A Pro license is for one person and may be activated on the number of Macs shown at checkout. You can deactivate a Mac from the Application to move the license to another one.
- You may not share, sell, rent, lend, sublicense or redistribute the Application or a license key.
- You may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or create derivative works of the Application, except as the law expressly allows.
- You may not remove, disable or work around the Application's license checks.
3. License Period
A Pro license is perpetual for every version of the Application released within 12 months of your purchase. After 12 months, Pro keeps working on those versions forever. Versions released later require an optional renewal. The free version may be used without time limit.
4. Technical Requirements
The Application requires macOS 14 or later. You are responsible for making sure your Mac meets the requirements. The Licensor may change the requirements in future versions.
5. Maintenance and Support
The Licensor provides updates and support by email at [email protected]. Lemon Squeezy, as reseller, handles payment and billing questions.
6. Use of Data
Traffic captured by the Application is processed and stored only on your Mac. The Application connects to the internet only to check for updates and to activate and validate Pro licenses. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
The Application is a tool for debugging software and devices. You may only capture, modify or replay traffic that you own or are authorized to inspect, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your use.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Application. The Licensor's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Application in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Warranty
The Licensor warrants that, at the time you download it, the Application is free of malware and works substantially as described on the Website. Other than that, the Application is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. If you find a defect, report it to [email protected].
10. Termination
This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. It ends automatically if you break any of its terms, in which case the Licensor may disable your license. When it ends, you must stop using the Application and delete all copies.
11. Intellectual Property Rights
The Licensor retains all rights, title and interest in the Application, including its code, design and documentation. This Agreement grants you only the rights described in it.
12. Applicable Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, except where the consumer protection laws of the country you live in say otherwise.
13. Miscellaneous
If any part of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Changes to this Agreement apply to versions of the Application released after the change.
